ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES

Professor Cliff Johnston continues to offer a range of specialist environmental consultancy, building on his pedigree of independent studies on behalf of both industry and government agencies. Often working in collaboration with other organisations, a key focus is:

• specialist policy and technical writing and publication, including internet initiatives;

supported by -
• high level policy consultancy, particularly in the oil and gas sector but also in wider energy and resource development,
• environmental management/awareness training,
• peer review of environmental and resource development projects, including both project (EIA) and strategic environmental assessment (SEA).

Resource development interests extend to the bioresource sector, including seaweed product development (see www.orkneyseaweed.co.uk)

Many of the communication and publication projects will benefit from the expanding design and presentation capabilities in the new company.
